We're hard at work finally, putting the new site look up, and making sure all the content is fresh and newly updated. Please bear with us over the next week or two if you find something missing or a broken link or two. We are working hard to get caught up so if something doesn't work right today, please check back tomorrow!
If you're looking around for a few of the sections we had before, I'm sorry to say that some of them are just plain gone. I decided it was time to narrow the focus of the site a bit to make sure we can really do a good job of covering the things we kept around. We were getting a little thin before, trying to offer something for everyone. We've got a new sitemap here though, so you can see all the sections.
There's somethng about Fly Fishing that puts it in a category all its own. We're not sure we can explain it, but we sure understand it. We're in some great fly fishing territory around here and we love to talk about our favorite places to float a fly on.
Bass, Walleye, Trout, Northern Pike and more make up the broad catefory of Freshwater fish that we pursue around the region. And we don't believe fishing ends when the snow flies, so if you're an ice fisher, come on in, you're welcome here too.
We don't have an ocean at our front door, but that doesn't stop us from taking every opportunity we can to get out onto the bluewater to chase some of the really great saltwater species. Marlin to Mahi Mahi, Rooster Fish to Bonefish, if it swims in the ocean, we're talking about it.
I'm not sure I can explain why men are so interested in high tech goodies, so I won't try. Better to just embrace the madness, right? In our Tech section, we keep an eye on all the latest goodies that no manly man will want to go out onto the water without.
I'm not really sure I can explain the thrill of having a fish take a hook, but it seems to be something wired into each of us. If you don't believe me, take a child fishing and watch their face the first time they feel that tug.
Living in the Mountain West, we have access to some of the countries greatest rivers. The Green River is just a few hours from our home in Salt Lake City, and that river is arguably one of the best trout rivers in the nation, thanks to the steps that have been taken to make sure the dam at Flaming Gorge draws water from different depths of the lake, mixing up the perfect water conditions for trout.
What we're working on with our Fishing section is coverage of all these great Lakes and Resevoirs, Rivers and Streams. We're trying to make sure you can find all the information you need while you're sitting in front of the computer, so that you don't waste any time when you're heading out into the wilds.
We've also got a full online Book and Gear Store setup, so you can get informed or geared up before you head out.
We're bringing a couple of new features to the site today. One is our Event Tracker Database and the other is our Organization Tracker. With these two databases, we're now giving you the ability to tell the world about your upcoming Event, or to tell us about a Company, Club, Team, Non-Profit Organization, Website or the like. Using the links below, you can now add information in to the database, or see what we currently have listed.
While we're getting the thing populated, we're also working on more detailed search and query options, to make it easier for you to search for a local event or a specific vendor, organization, etc. Take a look and if you know about something that's not in here, go ahead and feel free to post the information

Just to help pay the bills around here, we've partnered up with the folks over at Amazon.com to put together our own Fishing Store. We've got a ton of Books and Gear ready to go, so we'd be down right grateful if you'd take a look there before you leave!
