We're hard at work finally, putting the new site look up, and making sure all the content is fresh and newly updated. Please bear with us over the next week or two if you find something missing or a broken link or two. We are working hard to get caught up so if something doesn't work right today, please check back tomorrow!
If you're looking around for a few of the sections we had before, I'm sorry to say that some of them are just plain gone. I decided it was time to narrow the focus of the site a bit to make sure we can really do a good job of covering the things we kept around. We were getting a little thin before, trying to offer something for everyone. We've got a new sitemap here though, so you can see all the sections.
From where we're sitting as we write these pages, we're a little over 3 hours from some of the best four wheeling there is in the country. You guessed it, we're talking about Moab, Utah. Now before you go all crazy on me and start emailing to tell me why your part of the country is better than Moab, please understand that I meant no offense. I know there are other great place to get off-road. The Rubicon, the mountain trails around Ouray, Colorado, and there's more great places all over the country. But you have to admit, Moab is somewhat of a four wheeling Mecca.
There's a lot going on around Moab, and you'll find we're tapped into much of it when you head to that specific section of this site. But we've also got specific sections dedicated to many of the other epic four wheeling destinations in the mountain west. And if you're section of the country deserves a nod but we haven't mentioned it here, by all means please head over to our User Forum and tell us all about it.
Just to prove we're not posers, we'll also keep you posted on the projects and trails we do. Our first project is our very own "Project FJ", our build-up of a 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser. When we are done (or bored) with that, we also have a 1977 Jeep CJ-5 that is currently being worked over. As soon as we've done something interesting with that rig, we'll update you.
We've grouped our trail information together by state, so dig in and see what we've got:
We also know that four wheeling gearheads are loyal to their vehicles, and so we've also created sections of our site dedicated to some of the most popular off road vehicles out there. Now we know we can't please everyone here, someone will certainly feel slighted because we don't have a page dedicated to their specific type of rig, but rather than write us hate mail, how about you visit our User Forum and tell us about your rig there? (Can't we just all get along?)
In order to be reasonably organized, we've got the vehicle sections broken down by manufacturer first, and once you get into the manufacturers section, you'll then find the area broken down into specific models. Again, we're only going to cover those models that we know get the majority of use off-road, get modified a lot by their owners, etc.
We're bringing a couple of new features to the site today. One is our Event Tracker Database and the other is our Organization Tracker. With these two databases, we're now giving you the ability to tell the world about your upcoming Event, or to tell us about a Company, Club, Team, Non-Profit Organization, Website or the like. Using the links below, you can now add information in to the database, or see what we currently have listed.
While we're getting the thing populated, we're also working on more detailed search and query options, to make it easier for you to search for a local event or a specific vendor, organization, etc. Take a look and if you know about something that's not in here, go ahead and feel free to post the information

The amount of off-roading gear, parts and vehicle upgrades is huge, and growing by the day as the popularity of this sport continues to mushroom. While we obviously can't highlight every new gadget or part that comes along, we will be highlighting a few of those that catch our eye here. If you are a manufacturer or vendor who would like to bring some unique or new piece of gear to our attention, please use our Vendor Contact Form to do just that.
