We're hard at work finally, putting the new site look up, and making sure all the content is fresh and newly updated. Please bear with us over the next week or two if you find something missing or a broken link or two. We are working hard to get caught up so if something doesn't work right today, please check back tomorrow!
If you're looking around for a few of the sections we had before, I'm sorry to say that some of them are just plain gone. I decided it was time to narrow the focus of the site a bit to make sure we can really do a good job of covering the things we kept around. We were getting a little thin before, trying to offer something for everyone. We've got a new sitemap here though, so you can see all the sections.
Little Sahara Sand Dunes is a State Park that encompasses nearly 60,000 acres of dunes, trails and all sorts of fun! Located an easy distance from the Salt Lake area, you can head there for the day, or pack your gear and camp there for the weekend. As with most Sand Dune areas, the most popular thing to do is take your ATV or Dune Buggie there and race across the dunes, or test your mettle against the 700 foot tall Big Sand Mountain.
When you visit here, you'll be required to pay a use fee as you enter the park. On normal days, the entrance fee is $8.00 per day, but on Easter, Memorial Day and Labor Day Weekends you'll have to pay $10.00 per day. You can pay $75.00 and get an annual pass if you'd like. Due to the close proximity to Salt Lake City, (roughly 115 miles) the weekends listed above are the really busy times at the Dunes.
